Senior Associate

Sulagna has over 10 years of experience in corporate sustainability consulting, government consulting, and investment banking.

At IEc, her work is focused on corporate greenhouse gas footprinting and designing climate mitigation strategies for clients. Sulagna also works on climate risk assessments for clients. She is proficient at life cycle assessments for supply chains and scope 3 analysis. Sulagna has expertise in scope 3 accounting across a variety of sectors such as retail, financial services, technology, apparel, and energy. She has done this work for both private and public sectors in the United Kingdom, India, and the United States. Prior to joining IEc, Sulagna worked at CDP North America (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) helping cities, states, and public authorities in the United States and Canada report their climate goals.

She started her career as an investment research analyst with Goldman Sachs in 2015.

She holds a Master of Arts in Climate Policy from Tufts University, Fletcher School; an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management; and a Bachelor’s of Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai.
