Daria Larson
Senior Associate
Daria Larson (she/her) specializes in corporate sustainability, greenhouse gas accounting, and related carbon reduction strategy, along with financial and corporate organization analysis.
Daria’s work involves managing energy, water, and waste footprints for private companies, analyzing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and evaluating associated carbon mitigation strategies. Relatedly, Daria implements and manages sustainability programs for private companies, ensuring compliance with various ESG reporting and target-setting frameworks such as CDP, CSRD, and SBTi. Daria has extensive experience with penalty assessments, analyzing violators’ ability to pay proposed penalties for environmental enforcement actions, and their economic benefit gained from regulatory noncompliance. In addition, she often evaluates issues related to complex corporate organizations, such as fraudulent conveyance, successor liability, and piercing the corporate veil.
Daria holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies and Animal Science, summa cum laude, and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Connecticut. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Environmental Management and Planning.
