Barrie Selack specializes in Enterprise Architecture, Liferay Architecture, and Java Architecture and Development. He has a wide array of experience including working as a developer at Liferay, Liferay Partners and consulting for a variety of Fortune 500 companies. Much of his work at IEc focuses on creating online spaces for collaboration, integration, and data-focused applications. Most recently, he has worked with federal agencies to build improved collaboration, data management, and analytics capabilities to support environmental damage assessment and restoration efforts. He is proficient in designing and implementing custom applications using several modern frameworks and languages. Barrie’s database experience includes MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and DB2 and he is fluent in languages such as Java, Python, and Groovy.

Barrie is an expert in Liferay architecture and has experience creating Liferay training modules and speaking at conferences such as MacWorld, KCDC, and Liferay Symposiums. He has more than 30 years of experience in the software development field.
