Angela Vitulli has over 20 years of experience helping clients develop sustainability and climate mitigation programming, and measuring results.
Angela’s private sector work is focused on helping companies and industries measure and manage GHG footprints. She provides business case analysis of Scope 1 and 2 mitigation options (efficiency, fuel switching, renewables), as well as Scope 3 mitigation options (e.g., supplier and vendor engagement, material substitution). She provides GHG strategy development and implementation; target setting; RECs and offsets analysis and selection; and reporting, disclosure, and communications support. Angela has deep expertise in ESG frameworks including the GHG Protocol (Scope 1, 2, and 3), CDP, GRI, SASB, and SBTi. She helps companies meet sustainability disclosure expectations set by governments (including EU rules), stock exchanges, and trade associations. Angela’s clients include companies in the tech, consumer goods, industrial, restaurant, and retail sectors.
Angela’s public sector work centers on evaluating climate policy, and energy efficiency and renewables programs. She specializes in developing metrics tracking approaches, analyzing environmental and economic impacts, and communicating technical content to non-technical audiences. She has a particular niche in evaluating building sector decarbonization and market transformation programming. She has consulted with a wide range of clients including US DOE, US EPA, California Energy Commission, and NYSERDA. She has testified as a DSM program expert in utility rate cases.
Angela holds a B.A. in political science from Tulane University, Phi Beta Kappa, and a M.A. in Urban and Environmental Policy from Tufts University.
