Mr. Curry specializes in natural resource damage assessment (NRDA) and environmental enforcement.
He has coordinated many of the largest NRDAs ever conducted and has extensive experience
developing successful claims and settlements. Mr. Curry is nationally recognized as one
of the leading authorities on oil spill response for NRDA and he developed many of the
assessment strategies and management systems currently used to conduct NRDAs for oil spills.
He is also widely regarded for his work with birds impacted by oil spills and he serves as an
instructor at the National Conservation Training Center in the area of seabird assessment.
Mr. Curry has managed NRDA contracts for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration,
the Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, the Department of Justice, the Air
Force, and several states. Mr. Curry's damage assessment experience includes injury assessment,
study design, restoration planning, habitat equivalency analysis, scaling, and
