Mr. Roman has more than 17 years of experience analyzing environmental policy and a strong background in environmental sciences and chemistry. His expertise includes analytical support for human health risk analysis and natural resource damage assessment; development of guidance for risk assessment methods; regulatory benefits analysis of existing or proposed rules; and uncertainty/decision analysis, including the use of expert elicitation methods to improve the characterization of uncertainty in key elements of regulatory analysis.
Mr. Roman holds an A.B. cum laude in Chemistry from Harvard University, and an M.S. in Environmental Health Management from the Harvard University School of Public Health.
