Ms. Doiron specializes in geographic information science (GIS) and spatial analysis, with a focus on environmental modeling and natural resource damage assessments. She applies ten years of GIS expertise to many project areas at IEc, including spatial data management, web-based GIS, ecosystem service analysis, areal interpolation, sea level rise modeling, and demographic analysis. Her focus at IEc has been in managing large scale datasets for damage assessments and developing web GIS query tools. Ms. Doiron's work also extends to provide trainings in GIS software for staff, and to advise on GIS analyses performed at IEc.
Ms. Doiron holds a B.A., cum laude, in Environmental Studies from Wellesley College, and an M.A. in Geographic Information Science for Development and the Environment from Clark University. She has presented at many regional and national GIS conferences, including the Northeast Arc Users Conference and the Association of American Geographers Conference.
