Mr. Leistra-Jones has a strong background in environmental economic and policy analysis,
with a particular emphasis on energy and green building issues. His interdisciplinary
experience brings together work in policy development, economic analysis, and corporate
finance to provide him with a broad array of tools and approaches for analyzing policies,
projects, and companies of all scopes and sizes. Mr. Leistra-Jones’s work at IEc focuses
on green building and smart growth policy analysis, corporate financial analysis, and
cost/benefit analysis. He has conducted financial analyses on dozens of companies to
evaluate their financial health and their ability to pay proposed penalties for
environmental enforcement actions.
Mr. Leistra-Jones is an accredited LEED Green Associate. He holds a B.A. summa cum laude
in Environmental Studies and Music from Amherst College, and an M.B.A. and M.E.M. from Yale University.
