IEc designs and implements studies employing the full suite of market and non-market valuation techniques
including market price methods, contingent valuation, attribute-based or choice modeling methods, hedonics, and
travel cost demand modeling. We also develop innovative approaches utilizing existing research and data when
time and resource constraints preclude the conduct of primary research.
For the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, IEc developed a database
of over 100 sportfishing valuation
studies. The database provides detailed information on species, habitat,
fishing mode, region, consumer surplus estimate(s), and valuation methodology.
